Papel Texano is handcrafted paper and paper art the Austin way – an artist collaborative practicing the sustainable fusion of contemporary technologies with ancient crafts, using natural, repurposed and recycled materials. Most of our major tools were built by us.

Our non-profit studio hosts artists and craftsmen making custom products such art paper, personalized stationery, and works of art, as well as general exploration and discovery of the craft. Classes, demonstrations, presentations and training will be available soon, for groups, media, and individuals.
