Austin Homeschool Science League

How can a 10g balsa bridge hold 15 pounds? Interactive science projects and demos on display that showcase the projects our Science Olympiad competitors have worked on this year, from bottle rockets to robots, to forensics, architecture, anatomy, and wildflowers. Discover the science behind these activities. Come be part of Austin’s newest competitive homeschool Science Olympiad team!

Our science team members love science (obviously) and love to compete and challenge themselves. They have a really great time bickering about science (or rather having lively discussions about science topics), socializing at get-togethers outside of team meetings, preparing for competitions, racing down hallways at competitions leaping over competitors who are hunched over their studies like track hurdles. It’s a great mix of academics, sports, debate, and movie/game nights, lake outings, city outings. Did I mention a lot of social outings?
