The Weavers And Spinner Society of Austin

Come play with fiber! Join WSSA at the looms as we create a peace banner and weave with recycled materials. Help us create a hand-woven chair or learn about an ancient Viking braiding technique. Visit our wild and wooly spinning wheel petting zoo and learn about making yarn by hand. Fun for all ages!

The Robot Group

The Robot Group is a local Austin non-profit created for the following goals.
– To offer a framework whereby advanced technology and the arts can be integrated.
– To foster interaction between artists and technologists.
– To create projects which explore the relationship between the arts and technology.
– To combat technophobia through educational outreach, the staging of public events, and youth involvement in The Robot Group technological and artistic projects.

We have a plethora of different exhibits, including a hands-on Robo Spin Art exhibit.
