Microbial Earth Farms (MEF) is focused on the restoration of regional soils through the improvement of the carbon, water, nutrient, mineral cycles, as well as the community of life supported by these cycles. To make composting more productive for Austin families and homesteaders, MEF supports and markets a variety of compost solutions, so that each residence can find the right solution for their situation.

This is a Community Collage Art Project and we are creating an Austin City and Park Scene! People will also have the opportunity to create a small individual collage artwork to take home. We will be creating the community collage using fabric salvaged at the Maker Faire!

Science in the Movies is a live performance revealing the exciting ways science is used to create movie stunts and special effects. During a thrilling one hour assembly, Steve Wolf’s team performs six stunts and effects that teach over 100 essential science and safety concepts.
