Come see how new materials and tools are used to construct a cutting edge homebuilt hovercraft. Our demo hovercraft has parts made on a 3D printer, a CNC hotwire machine, and a water jet cutter, and the electronic control system is powered by an Arduino! We’re working to make hovercraft easier, safer, and more fun for builders of all experience levels. We have a recently completed hovercraft on display, as well as a retired engine that’s been cut away and turned into an interactive model.

Your Input Needed is a collaborative documentary film project made by everyone, telling the story of the Maker Movement. You can contribute to this open-source project by submitting your own media, remixing, adapting, and sharing through permissive licensing and an online collaborative production platform. The project currently features both the recognizable leaders of the maker movement and everyday makers, and covers topics like maker spaces, rapid prototyping, crowdsourcing, and open source.

The Happy Hut is a collaborative space made for lounging, learning, relaxing, thinking, being with those you love, and meeting other nice and interesting folks. You are invited to collaborate with us to add to the whimsy and wonder of this space, or you can just sit inside, relax, and soak up some happiness.
