OUTSIDE VOICE

OUTSIDE VOICE helps kids and families GO MAKE ART! Join us for a Maker Faire-wide digital photography Scavenger Hunt. We’ll provide teams of two or more with a series of photo challenges, and players will hunt and capture these images, using the entire Maker Faire as a subject. Photos tagged with #OVPhotoHunt will be eligible for daily prizes. Even better, players will learn how to use handheld devices to be creative, have fun and collaborate with friends and family.

Colorful Exploration

Colorful Exploration is a community installation art piece designed for both children and adults to interact with. In creating these colorful forms, the ultimate goal was to use simple materials that could be accessible and easy to handle by families, if they choose to create their own colorful forms at home to play with. After some time tinkering with materials, the final product included an array of colored cellophane, aluminum tape and air. This piece provokes and encourages the importance of exploration and experimentation with simple materials.
