Jesus Gonzalez created 2 projects that he would like to share with Students, Homeschool & Mainstream Teachers, Year Around Farmers, and Horticulture Enthusiasts who are interested in seeing and further their understanding in the natural plant properties and their ecosystem and how that understanding can translate to eco-friendly organic plan farming for our society. One project – Aquaponics – Growing Serrano Peppers using the natural cycle of ammonia conversion into nitrates for plant nutrients using a Native Texas Sun Fish – Zeus & No-Soil Water Cycle process. 2nd Project – Analyzing the different light spectrum using LED as light source to enable efficient plant growth through at the flowering stages of plants. The method can be applied to vertical farming, organic farming, and enabling year around farming. Great to see the LED/Plant Light Boxes in Action.

Springdale General

If you ask people why they move to Austin or why they open businesses in Austin, most people will say it’s because of the culture and the creativity. Unfortunately, Austin is becoming a victim of its own success. High rents and the growing cost of living are pushing musicians, artists, coders, makers, and designers out of town.

The mission of Springdale General is to keep the creative class in Austin by building a campus of affordable maker studios, creative office space, test kitchens, and workshops in East Austin. With over 165,000 square feet of space on 10 acres, this development will be able to accommodate a variety of small to medium businesses from coffee roasters to tech startups.
